Rehabilitation Videos
Rehabilitation is defined as a set of interventions designed to optimise functioning and help disabilities in individuals with health conditions.
Below are journeys that our clients have gone through and how they started vs how they are now. Check it out below
Paul’s Journey
Paul has been with us for 12 months. After suffering a stroke Paul was unable to sit or stand without 2 people supporting him from either side. Working 1-1 with Paul – using the power assisted machines to help warm up the muscles and get them working, even strapping Paul to the machines to enable full range of movement.
The machines are great for movement without putting pressure through the joints. Thinking outside the box is key to stroke rehab, as we needed to build up core strength to help with balance. Sit to stand unaided was the first goal to smash – done September 2022.
Walking unaided is the 2nd goal we are working on – goal date dec 2022 – xmas. All this is to help Paul gain some confidence & independence back. Homework is given and advice on how to perform the exercises at home, with aids such as handrails installed down the hallway. We would like to keep you updated on Pauls rehabilitation journey, with permission from Paul himself. He quite likes the idea of his “fanbase”.

Phil’s Journey
The video, is showing how far Phil has come within 1 year of being with us after suffering a stroke. It shows how much his balance and coordination has improved.
You can see from the first video, that he struggles to do the crossover movement, and in the 2nd video you can see he manages it with ease.
