How Infrared Saunas Work?
How Infrared Saunas Work?
Infrared light works slightly different to a traditional sauna in that it directly heats your body, not just the air around it.
It accesses the muscle tissue and stimulates increased oxygenated blood to that area, which will help the muscle to recover & repair. Less intensive than a normal sauna, infrared sessions take around 30 minutes.
The heat can trigger many healing processes in the body.
Several studies have looked at using infrared saunas in the treatment of chronic health problems, such as:
-High blood pressure
-Congestive heart failure
-Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease
-Headaches
-Type 2 diabetes
-Rheumatoid arthritis
-Great for sporting injuries, helping the muscles repair quicker
